Today, the town was awakened by rain song. Even when I was writing, it was still going on. The Sun was hiding from all of Kamnik. But we had an aim, "reaching the sun". Now I'm totally sure that you're thinking why I wrote "we” Another EVS Volunteer in Slovenia visited me from Slovenske Konjice which is why i said we were trying to reach the sun.

These efforts brought in us to Mali Grad. If we wanna mention about Mali Grad, it means Small Castle. It is embellished by two storey pilgrim chapel with crypt, unique in Slovenia. Chapel represents one of the most important cultural-historical attractions in Kamnik which has no proper comparison in Slovenian architectural heritage. Castle complex with chapel arose as early as 11.century and was the seat of family of Andechs counts from Bavaria. Castle is also connected with the legend of stingy countess Veronika, half snake, half girl, whose image ornaments the town coat of arms of Kamnik.
Mali Grad is one of the most exciting places not only in Kamnik but also all in Slovenia...
This is a place which can be one of frequently destinations among your travels, if you visit here even only once time...
Se vidimo,
