'Maribor Lent Festival and Street Theaters'

It’s been 4 months since I arrived from Istanbul. It had felt as if I started leading a new life. When I boarded the airplane from Istanbul on my way to EVS, It was my first time away from the land I was born. I headed away from hearth and home. When I arrived in Slovenia, my past life had been left behind. One step at a time, manner of life is changing in here. Here’s the bottom line: nowadays, it’s got a good rhythm.

Last monday, I visited Maribor for Festival Lent with my EVS mentor who is a theater owner in Kamnik Dom Kultura. I saw his work of art. His performance in street, this is open-air theater. It’s a masterpiece, It couldn’t be better. By the way, KamFest on Mali Grad is next month. Variously themed performances, concerts and other events will be in there.

Last weekend, I lost a video contest. I participated in it. But winning isn’t everything. As you know, the important thing is that I tried. What I would like to say is, if at first I don’t succeed, I can try again.
In my EVS, I have many ideas and projects. But sometimes, there isn’t enough time in the day. If I don’t want behind the times, I must run. In the long run, everything will be OK. But, of course it ain’t over till it’s over.
